Hall Dickler Kent Friedman & Wood, a New York and Los Angeles law firm specializing in advertising, marketing, and new media, launched the ADLAW Web site.
The site offers access to the Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance (GALA), sample advertising, Internet contract forms, and a handbook of key advertising issues.
“We’ve built a site that is both useful and useable. It provides content and practical resources for advertisers, marketers and agencies,” said Douglas J. Wood, executive partner at Hall Dickler, which has published ADLAW, an off-line information resource on advertising law, for more than 10 years.
“The site enables everyone in the advertising and online communities to keep up to date with the latest legal developments, and GALA provides multinational advertisers with instant access to experienced advertising law practitioners around the world.”
Content includes a Sweepstakes and Games section with overviews, outlines and articles on the legal complexities of promotional programs.
Another highlight of the site is the new Internet Advertising/Marketing Law Report, co-published by Hall Dickler and Law Journal EXTRA!, an American Lawyer Media Inc. company.
The report covers the rapidly developing laws of cyberspace, cybermarketing, and the cases, legislation, and public policies that have made news.
