LinkedIn CMO to step down at end of year
On Thursday, LinkedIn CMO Shannon Brayton announced in a post that she will be stepping down at the end of the year, to be replaced by Melissa Selcher.
Melissa Selcher, currently LinkedIn’s VP of Brand Marketing and Corporate Communications, will replace her.
Brayton has worked at LinkedIn since 2010, when she started as VP of Corporate Communications. She started as CMO in April 2015.
In her post, Brayton said she will take some time to be with friends and family “after working nearly nonstop for the last 25 years.”
She also said she won’t be going to another company for the time being, as it’s “super difficult to ever top” her current role.
