Wexham Springs, England-based Madge Networks, a network solutions provider, and ad profile and delivery company Engage Technologies said they have joined forces “to deliver a new generation of profile-driven Internet marketing solutions in Europe.”

The alliance pairs online advertising management solutions from Engage with the Web hosting service from Madge to deliver targeted Web advertising services to European blue chip organizations and new media marketing companies, the firms said.

Engage’s Accipiter AdBureau and visitor profiling solutions will be hosted and managed by Madge, which will run the software on its infrastructure. Accipiter is a turnkey service that allows Web sites to manage the delivery, scheduling, targeting, and reporting of Internet advertising.

Coupled with Engage precision profiling technology, the service is designed to help European marketers maximize advertising exposure by giving them a thorough understanding of consumer interests for targeted banner campaigns. Financial arrangements between the two companies were not disclosed.

“To do online advertisers justice, we needed a partner who could deliver a reliable and scaleable solution for Web-hosting the services we provide to our clients. Madge has the global service and advanced network management infrastructure that allows us to offer the best service to our customers,” said Peter Chaplin, managing director of Engage UK.

Founded in 1986, Madge Networks is a global managed network services and product solutions provider.
