Quickly understanding the need to jump on board emerging social media trends to grab the attention of savvy consumers, brands are finally realising the potential that can come from taking advantage of photo-sharing site, Instagram.
As reported by Clickthrough Marketing recently, Starbucks was one of the first brands to try its hand at an Instagram marketing campaign. With almost 1.5m followers on the site already, the company is successfully working to engage with members of its tech-savvy audience through re-pins of photos of their coffees and pictures of idyllic summer scenes, among others.
Other companies boasting successful integration into Instagram include Bottica, a high-end fashion brand. By integrating its Instagram account into its website, users can easily follow the site, which also encourages them to snap pictures of themselves wearing Bottica items.
A site that not only allows brands to display their creativity and tasty/beautiful products, Instagram is increasingly being used as a tool to help brands achieve conversions.
