methodfive won a strategic Web planningproject for The Economist Web site, the onlinebusiness of The Economist magazine.

methodfive won a strategic Web planning project for The Economist Web site, the online business of The Economist magazine.

methodfive will work with The Economist to develop a strategy to enable The Economist Web site to achieve its goals. The site currently claims 500,000 monthly unique users. The project will include business planning, technology evaluation and design. Billings were not disclosed.

“We were greatly impressed by methodfive’s collaborative methodology and breadth of experience and expertise in providing Web solutions for content-rich online sites,” said Andrew McGregor, Web director for Economist.com.

methodfive offers professional services for the creation, support and expansion of large-scale Web initiatives. Services are tailored to the media, retail and financial services industries. Clients have included the Journal Register Co., Miller Freeman, Jupiter Communications, ICL/Fujitsu, The National Geographic Society, Merrill Lynch, HotJobs.com and BBC Online.
