Over three quarters of SMBs making use of social media

A new report looking into how SMBs in the US utilise digital media has revealed that 77% are utilising social media as part of their digital platform.

A recent report by Vocus and Inc. Magazine has revealed that social media marketing is being used by 77% of small-to-medium businesses in the US, highlighting how even small companies are relying on it as a cheaper way of spreading their brands’ message.

The State Of Digital Marketing For SMBs‘ March 2013 report also revealed that 24.9% of those questioned put social media among one of the top three most effective tools in their marketing packages.

The report highlights there is still room for growth however, as the trend in utilising social media and digital marketing continues to revolutionise the marketing and promotion industry.
