It also announced it signed new media shop Think New Ideas, e-retailer Autoweb.com, content site Women.com, and the diversified advertising firm of Hill Holiday Connors Cosmopulos.
“We expect to continue this rapid growth as the demand for credible online market research parallels the incredible rise of e-commerce,” said Mark K. Wright, @plan chairman and CEO.
@plan said its strategic market research system provides neutral, third-party information that can help guide branding, e-commerce and the buying and selling of advertising on the Web.
“@plan helps us make better buys for our clients on the Web,” said client Bill Lynn, senior vice president/associated media at Hill Holliday. “The data is presented in a very user-friendly format that makes planning and researching Web buys easier than ever before.”
The @plan consumer database is built from a random representative survey of 40,000 active adult users of the Internet. Conducted by The Gallup Organization, this survey is the statistical equivalent of talking to every single adult active Web user in the U.S., the company says.
Every three months interviews with 10,000 new respondents are added to the database and the oldest 10,000 interviews are eliminated.
