The two companies have partnered to create search capabilities for Road Runner’s 730,000 subscribers, so they may find broadband-optimized audio, video and multimedia content throughout the service and on the Web.
Along with this will come keyword advertising opportunities using broadband-optimized media, as well as high-bandwidth directory-targeted placements.
“We are delighted to make the benefits of Rampt’s leading broadband search and directory applications available to our users and advertisers,” said Todd Herrold, director, account development for Road Runner.
“Our subscribers will be able to leverage Road Runner’s high speeds to experience the best broadband has to offer. The net result for advertisers and merchandisers is enhanced branding and ROI by positioning their products and services to the right users in the right context and in the most highly engaging format.”
