THINK New Ideas in New York City launched Rockport.com , the next generation Web sitefor Rockport Co., the comfort lifestyle shoe manufacturer.

THINK New Ideas in New York City launched Rockport.com, the next generation Web sitefor Rockport Co., the comfort lifestyle shoe manufacturer.

THINK said it employed a number of proprietary technologies in the production of the site, including online catalog technology and a mapping-based retail locator that offers consumers the opportunity to create custom, personalized catalogs and locate the dealer nearest them. Billings were not disclosed.

The new Rockport.com site is designed to reflect the company’s new advertising campaign, “uncompromise,” to make comfort and leisure part of an active lifestyle. The site provides a resource center, The New Comfort Center, that offers information on foot care, shoe engineering and innovations as well as foot health, such as the benefits of reflexology.

Rockport.com also links to co-marketing partners, environmental, health and fitness organizations and orthopedic and podiatrist referral systems.

The Rockport Co. in Marlboro, MA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Reebok International Ltd.
