American Express, Ford, Netscape and Swatch are among 18 new advertisers recently signed by The [email protected], Sony Pictures Entertainment Online and Sony Music Online Sites.
The SOE network offers integrated marketing and advertising opportunities across a range of Sony’s entertainment-related Web sites. Spending specifics were not disclosed.
Other new SOE network advertisers include Lego, Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), Princeton Review, Salomon Smith Barney, 3Com, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, Universal Pictures, U.S. Satellite Broadcasting, America Online/CompuServe, CDNow, iVillage, Netscape, The Globe.com and Rolling Stone Network.
The buys range from customized and integrated content sponsorships to interstitials and banner ads.
The SOE network gives advertisers the ability to reach diverse demographics across a number of Sony’s entertainment sites. For example, the Office of National Drug Control Policy is spreading its anti-drug message to teens on Dawson’s Desktop, a “Dawson’s Creek”-inspired site; iVillage is reaching women playing Wheel of Fortune Online; and Ford is targeting the college market through its involvement with College JEOPARDY! Online.
