StarMedia Network, a pan-regional online operation serving Latin America, opened a Miami advertising sales office.
The Miami office will add to the company’s roster of Latin American offices and operating companies in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Chile, and its New York City design, technology and administrative office.
The office, headed by Claudia Badia, will be responsible for supporting the company’s multinational clients with operating units in the Miami area as well as other companies interested in distributing information, products and services online to Latin America.
“StarMedia’s presence in Miami will support the growing number of companies based in the area who are building and expanding their businesses in Latin America,” said CEO Fernando Espuelas. “Their desire to reach the top 20 percent of households throughout Latin America or on a selective multi-market basis is strong, but their options are very limited. StarMedia’s pan-regional platform is the only, completely targeted way for them to reach this demographic.”
