In response to the demand for increased performance of the Web, STORM will offer a series of software solutions that speed performance and improve management of Web sites with large numbers of files and users. STORM’s first product is based on a patent-pending server-side technology that dramatically increases the speed with which Web servers find, access and retrieve information.

“As a leader in the development of enterprise-level e-commerce initiatives, USWeb/CKS understands our market and the significance of our technology on a first-hand basis,” said Sam Leinhardt, president and chief executive officer of STORM Systems. “The creativity, market savvy and impressive track-record of USWeb/CKS will help us to differentiate our products and establish STORM as an innovative company with practical solutions to a variety of operational problems resulting from the explosive growth of the Internet.”
