Expanding its off-line marketing campaign, Styleclick.com Inc., operator of a network of style related e-commerce sites, began a radio advertising strategy created to drive traffic to its flagship Web site.
The broadcast campaign, which consists of a variety of commercials, is airing during prime commuter drive times in major U.S. markets including New York, Miami, Dallas, Chicago, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., and will run throughout the holiday season. The commercials stress the convenience of shopping at Styleclick.com.
Spending and agency details were not disclosed.
“Our broadcast campaign is designed to reach a significant portion of our target shopper, driving traffic to Styleclick.com and expanding consumer awareness of our brand name,” said Maurizio Vecchione, president and co-chief executive officer of Styleclick.com.
“The radio broadcast campaign complements our current print advertising which has run in such major publications including Business Week, Business 2.0 and The Industry Standard.”
Styleclick.com, offers many products in high resolution with the ability to pan and zoom to inspect fabric textures, stitching, buttons, and beading.
Featured products can be viewed in high resolution, three dimensional rotation.
