While the Army is embroiled in account reviews and attempts to monetize its advertising by selling its action-packed recruiting games on consoles, the Marines are seeking recruits the old-fashioned way: on Craigslist.

The copy could use some tweaking. While it’s careful to stipulate the Marines are looking for a few good men and women, I don’t know how well the benefit statement, “become part of a life-long brotherhood,” is going to go over with that latter group.

This isn’t wildly convincing, either: “Job location is NYC & Long Island.”
