MediaCom was named off-line agency of record for TicketmasterOnline-CitySearch Inc. and will handle national off-line media planning andbuying.

MediaCom was named off-line agency of record for Ticketmaster Online-CitySearch Inc. and will handle national off-line media planning and buying.

The TMCS family of Web sites includes CitySearch local city guides, Ticketmaster Online, CityAuction, Match.Com, One & Only Network and LiveDaily.

In July, TMCS added the entertainment city guide portion of Microsoft Sidewalk.

“Our decision to appoint MediaCom as our agency-of-record is based on their extensive capabilities across all print and broadcast media and their solid expertise in planning and buying,” said Crista Bailey, director of advertising and research for TMCS.

MediaCom, with $8 billion in billings and offices in 80 countries, is an independent unit of Grey Advertising Inc.
