US Interactive formed a strategic partnership with Trilogy Software Inc., a provider of sales, marketing and business-to-business e-commerce applications with a specialty in the automotive industry.

“We are excited about Trilogy’s becoming a key partner in our Enterprise Relationship Management (ERM) practice,” said Eric Pulier, chairman of US Interactive. “Trilogy excels at developing innovative value propositions in the front office and has consistently demonstrated success in solving companies’ most sophisticated sales and marketing problems. Furthermore, Trilogy’s Selling Chain product suite is an exceptional fit for our E-Roadmap planning system and IVL methodology.”

“Deploying industry transforming product integration and consulting services to the largest automotive leaders takes a disciplined methodology and innovative planning system to ensure success,” said Rick Berry, director of Trilogy’s automotive practice. “Leveraging US Interactive’s consulting services to implement Trilogy’s proven suite of software products provides our customers the highest level of implementation flexibility.”

Trilogy’s Selling Chain solution is designed to allow manufacturers to display consistent and accurate information on the Internet, within dealerships or on free-standing computer kiosks. Dealers are able to share product information with shoppers, and locate or order new vehicles they select with a point-and-click graphical user interface.

At the same time, the system gives the manufacturer ongoing feedback regarding consumer needs and preferences. This information is then used to drive forecasting and product planning.
