Direct marketing and media firm VentureDirect Worldwide this week formed a group within its media planning and buying division to focus on wholesale opportunities.
The idea is to create a marketplace for networks and advertisers to buy and sell large quantities of online media. The move would help VentureDirect’s clients who need to fill oversold inventory or market remnant space.
“Internet advertising networks and companies who buy large quantities of advertising have unique needs,” explains Richard Baumer, president of VentureDirect. “This group was created to focus on fulfilling those needs for our clients.”
VentureDirect Worldwide does direct marketing and media, including list management, list brokerage, online media planning, buying and Web site representation.
