Dana Anderson, senior vice president (SVP) and chief marketing officer (CMO) at Mondelēz International, has been honored as “Ad Person of the Year 2014” because of her innovative marketing approach.
Speaking to ClickZ in an exclusive interview prior to the Ad Club of New York event honoring her, Anderson talked about how she and her team innovate to create successful ad campaigns like the Honey Maid’s “This Is Wholesome” creative.
Before she started working on the client side, Anderson worked at several ad agencies, including a stint as president and chief executive (CEO) at DDB Chicago. So in this video interview, she was also able to share her views on how agencies and brands should work together to drive success.
Looking ahead at Mondelēz’s advertising and marketing strategy, Anderson says she and her team will continue creating breakthrough marketing to engage with consumers in new ways.
“There’s a new Oreo thing coming out [in the new year], which is so much fun,” she told ClickZ.
Will we see more “Oreo Moments” from Mondelēz International in 2015? Watch the video to hear what Anderson has to say.
