CGM video tech firm vMix is powering a new user-generated video section on Tribune’s San Diego CW 5 site. Folks can upload video and comment in the new site, deemed Yovio. There’s lots of room for display ads running alongside the content. At this point, those spots are being used to promote vMix user registration — no pre-roll ads either.
vMix also works with clients including Warner Bros., Fox Home Entertainment and Bravo TV.
