The partnership coincides with the upcoming release of new music and business oriented 3D Internet services and products.
“Worlds is currently positioning itself to capture online 3D market share in the months ahead with the introduction of its proprietary 3D Internet technology and content applications aimed directly at the online record and music business,” said Thom Kidrin, president and CEO of Worlds Inc. “7 we are pleased to have Middleberg & Associates representing Worlds because of their comprehensive understanding of the Internet and New Media.”
In late1997, Worlds brought in new management with a music orientation intent on utilizing some portion of the more than 2.5 billion CDs sold worldwide annually as a solution to traditional telephone line bandwidth constraints for more widespread consumer use of 3D technology on the Internet.
At present, Worlds Inc. is in the process of targeting three specific markets: its primary focus will be on 3D music-oriented Internet sites, with corporate intranet applications and Worlds Chat–a consumer-based 3D chat site on the Internet–also being targeted.
