NetTracker

NetTracker by Sane is a Web log analyzer available for Windows and UNIX platforms. It features drill-down capabilities that allow users to get detailed information about all of their visitors and generates up-to-the-minute reports from any location using a Web browser.

NetTracker doesn't require users to download their log files, which saves time and bandwidth. The software features a Web browser interface and an unlimited client license.

Two versions of NetTracker are available: NetTracker 4.0 Professional, which is designed to analyze Internet and intranet Web server log files. NetTracker Professional comes with 29 standardized summaries and the ability to create customized summaries that present detailed information about the effectiveness of a Web site.

NetTracker 4.0 Enterprise can also analyze multiple Web sites, as well as proxy server and firewall log files to monitor an organization's Web surfing patterns), plus FTP log files.

System requirements are as follows: Windows requires Windows 95/98 or Windows NT 4.0 or higher; Pentium (Pentium II recommended) or Alpha Processor; 32 MB of RAM minimum (64 MB recommended); and 40 MB free disk space, plus the size of the log files. UNIX system requirements will vary between supported UNIX platforms. For Intel-based UNIX platforms, a Pentium processor is the minimum recommendation; 32 MB of RAM minimum (64 MB recommended); and 40 MB of free disk space, plus the size of the log files.
