Sitecore has announced that Procter & Gamble will begin using its Customer Engagement Platform (CEP) to help manage interactions with customers.
Sitecore is a web content and customer engagement software manager. Its CEP software works in conjunction with its web content management suite to add customer insight information into a company’s tool set.
“Today’s consumers demand personalized communication in every aspect of their lives,” says SVP, product marketing at Sitecore Darren Guarnaccia.
“Accordingly, organizations are rethinking the ways that they acquire, grow and retain customers through increased focus on delivering an experience that is highly relevant and predictive of customer and prospect’s needs. Sitecore’s platform makes every interaction more personalized, more relevant, more engaging and more compelling. That’s what delivers measurable results – and what drives conversions and sales.”
Sitescore’s software offers firms the ability to see a single view of an individual customer’s web, email, and social communication information. The company touts its products as having the ability to increase conversion rates and build lifelong communications with consumers.
Among its current clients include the likes of Lego, Heineken, Microsoft, and Nestle. Sitecore’s products have also received kudos from firms such as Gartner and Software Magazine.
Last year, Sitecore recorded record growth in its sector. The firm reported that it grew over 40 percent from 2011 to 2012. Following the solid numbers, the firm increased spending in its R&D and marketing departments.
Procter & Gamble is a consumer goods company that works with brands like Tide, Olay, and Pampers. The firm assists brands with extending their reach through a variety of advertising campaigns.
Earlier this year the firm led Gillette’s online Kiss and Tell campaign. Procter & Gamble also made headlines last year for a Facebook campaign for the Swiffer brand.
