Coors Brewing Company has handed its interactive ad duties to Avenue A / Razorfish, aQuantive’s agency unit.
The assignment includes all aspects of digital marketing, including display media, search, site development and email. The agency will also consider the use of mobile marketing, gaming and other non-traditional channels for the client, according to Darrin Brown, president of Avenue A / Razorfish’s West region.
Coors brands include Coors, Coors Light, Killian’s, Keystone and Blue Moon, among others. The company has previously worked with digital agencies Modem Media and iDeutsch.
“Their target audience is using the Internet and digital media at an increasingly high rate,” said Brown. “They’re saying, how do we open up effective communication with this audience in these channels?”
The client is the third largest brewer in the United States.
