Laguna Niguel, CA-based eCommercial.com said that its common stock has begun public trading on the OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol “ECRL.”

eCommercial.com has developed a proprietary technology for use by e-commerce companies to market products and services over the Internet.

The company said its software produces interactive asynchronous messages called “eCommercials.” Often used as a “front door” to introduce streaming media from companies such as Broadcast.com, an eCommercial is a highly compressed multimedia file that consists of several data types, including video, audio, still images, text tickers, graphics, animation and hyperlinks.

The combination produces a TV-like commercial framed within a mini-Web page that communicates a multimedia message while, at the same time, allowing consumers to instantly access more information and make purchases online.

eCommercials are delivered as an email attachment or a Web page download via the eCom Network, the company’s high-speed servers loaded with proprietary management and tracking software.

“eCommercials bring a new dynamic to the Internet advertising arena,” said Tom Blakeley, president and CEO of eCommercial.com. “For the first time, companies can offer their potential customers targeted Internet campaigns that significantly increase sales revenues by providing immediate feedback loops that include real-time human interaction.”

The company said it has partnered with several global entertainment companies seeking to expand the traditional advertising of film, television, and music onto the Web.
