Execs & Accounts: Atmosphere BBDO, Levi's, Condé Nast

Atmosphere BBDO creates AT&T Wireless campaign, Levi's runs a campaign on Glam Media's women's sites; Condé Nast selects online video platform; Endemol and Aptera name CMOs.

Atmosphere BBDO created a campaign for AT&T Wireless. SpeakInThumbs promotes the Pantech Matrix and Samsung Propel with AT&T service.

Levi’s brand is running its “Luv My Levi’s” campaign across the Glam Media women’s network. The campaign includes a campaign microsite hosted on Glam featuring a “denim dating” personality quiz, original editorial content from Glam, and online video featuring women discussing fashion. The campaign launched in October.

Jon Vlassopulos left Endemol to become CEO of mobile entertainment firm Moderati. Vlassopulos was the senior vice president of digital media and branded entertainment at Endemol. Prior to that he served as senior director, business development and strategic partnerships at AT&T Wireless, launching major media brands on AT&T services.

Condé Nast is using Brightcove as its online video platform for several publications. Brightcove will power video for Wired.com, Portfolio.com, Glamour.com, Parade.com, and Self.com. Wired.com is re-launching its video assets on the new system.

Energy-efficient commuter vehicle manufacturer Aptera hired a CMO. Marques McCammon joined Aptera as chief marketing officer from Saleen where he was general manager of the specialty vehicle manufacturer. He also has experience with auto brands such as Dodge, Chrysler, and ASC Helios. McCammon replaces branding consultant Tony Kirton, who will continue as a consultant supporting the marketing team.

Star Marketing Services named Matthew Sinacori VP of operations and business development. Sinacori will be based in the New York office of the CRM and campaign measurement arm of Omnicom. He will oversee human resources, business development, marketing, strategy, and specialty projects for the firm that handles online and offline accounts. Sinacori was previously director of marketing campaigns and capabilities in the global merchant services business unit of American Express.

Incisive Media promoted Matthew McGowan to vice president and publisher for digital marketing businesses. McGowan will oversee all non-editorial functions including sales, marketing, and operations for digital properties including the ClickZ Network, Search Engine Watch, and the Search Engine Strategies conference series. McGowan’s previous role was global vice president of marketing for the same group. McGowan joined Incisive in 2006, prior to that he had served as vice president of sales, marketing, and operations for PropertyRoom.com. Incisive Media is the parent company of ClickZ.

The Web Analytics Association picked up new members. They include the New York Times, ForeSee Results, EpikOne, and TrackSet.

Denver-based Cactus adds two to its client services team. Tara Childers, account executive, will develop strategy and manage projects for the Colorado Lottery account. Prior to Cactus she was an account executive for Seattle-based Publicis in the West, and for a Denver ad agency where she worked with clients such as T-Mobile, Citibank, and Molson. Charity Czerwinski, account coordinator, will support the State Tobacco Education & Prevention Partnership account including Own Your C, FixNixer, and The Cigarette Is Dead. Czerwinski gained professional experience as a human resources intern for the state of Wyoming and is a marketing intern for Safe N’ Sound in Tulsa, OK.

Delivery Agent appointed Phil Neri senior vice president of finance and operations. Neri joined Delivery Agent from Red Envelope where he was CFO. At the time he led the public company to a successful sale to Liberty Media. Prior to Red Envelope Neri spent time in finance and merchandising roles at Restoration Hardware, Williams Sonoma, and Gump’s San Francisco.

InstantAction.com selected Intergi as its online ad rep partner. Instant Action has built a large, active community. Intergi has a digital network targeting the online gaming and entertainment sector.
