Avenue A/Razorfish search director defects to Microsoft; FM Publishing builds network; Carat Fusion's Durham departs.

The managing director of Avenue A/Razorfish Search has left the aQuantive unit to join Microsoft as director of media analytics. Harrison Magun joined Avenue A when it acquired eonMedia in December, 2003.

Federated Media Publishing added several dozen blogs to its network in recent months. New sites include parenting blogs Amalah, DadCentric and Suburban Bliss; tech blogs Make, Revision3 and Oh! Gizmo; and entertainment blogs Drink of the Week and Pop URLs.

Carat Fusion EVP John Durham has left the agency to join Jumpstart Automotive Media as president of sales and marketing. Durham led business strategy at Carat Fusion for two years, prior to which he co-founded digital political consultancy Pericles Communications, which worked on the last Bush presidential campaign.

EmailLabs signed 76 new clients during the quarter. They include NARS Cosmetics, Robeez, Scrubs & Beyond, Skip Barber Racing, and Spirit Cruises.

Car and Driver tapped Revenue Science for behavioral targeting services on CarandDriver.com. The deal takes effect August 7.

[x+1] hired Stephano Kim as SVP of business and corporate development. Kim was a senior associate at Advanced Technology Ventures.

AVIDGOLFER magazine handed its online advertising duties to TM Interactive. It won the account following a review process that also included Dallas shops Click Here and Rapp Collins.

Mobile in-game ad network Greystripe struck a deal with a German mobile game publisher, HandyGames, to distribute 28 titles in the U.S. Greystripe launched in May.

Playboy Enterprises hired Edward Lang as SVP and general manager of mobile. He was most recently VP of mobile initiatives with Sony.
