FIM taps Operative for online ad operations; Telefonica picks Yahoo for mobile search.
Fox Interactive Media (FIM) selected Operative for online ad operations. FIM will use the Operative Dashboard to optimize yields and integrate ad inventory on sites including MySpace, AmericanIdol.com and IGN Entertainment.
Telefonica will use Yahoo’s oneSearch mobile search product to power search on numerous of its international mobile portals. The Madrid-based telco will use Yahoo’s search product in Ireland, Latin America and the U.K. The company will also integrate Flickr and Yahoo Mail into its portfolio of mobile Internet services.
Jewelry Television tapped Bazaarvoice for rating and reviews. The fine jewelry and loose gemstones retailer incorporated the user feedback technology into its television programming and its Web site.
MSG Media appointed Frank Minishak vice president of digital sales. The digital and broadcast production and content development firm created the position for Minishak, who was previously AOL’s regional sales director in New York.
AG Interactive selected ClearSaleing as its search engine marketing agency of record. The e-card and interactive division of American Greetings Corporation will also use ClearSaleing’s proprietary search engine marketing technology.
Mktgpartners added three execs. The entertainment and sports marketing agency named Joel Chestler SVP of account management; James Christian VP of creative and design; and David Arnold EVP of production.
ContextWeb claimed 94 Web sites joined its ADSDAQ ad exchange. New members of the exchange include Local.com, Raging Bull, A&E, Citadel Broadcasting, Nielsen Digital, Salary.com and Sports Illustrated.
Reuters signed with Rapt for ad inventory management. The news organization will use Rapt On Demand for inventory forecasting, planning and management.
Federated Media hired Karleen Engel as an account coordinator. The network for publishing and marketing services added Engel to its sales department following her graduation from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
Coalmarch Productions named Ashley Berman director of search engine marketing. Berman joined the agency from a position as marketing & commerce manager for the Caribbean Hotel Association.
Aspen Marketing Services acquired Newgen Results Corporation. The marketing services agency purchased Newgen to enhance its CRM capabilities for the automotive sector. Financial details were not disclosed.
