Nurun hires former Digitas exec; AdGent 007 hires COO; BrightRoll adds two sales reps.
Nurun named Bill Lawrence VP and managing director. Lawrence will lead Nurun’s Atlanta office. His most recent position was vice president and group director of Digitas in Atlanta, where he managed key accounts for the agency.
AdGent 007 enlisted former Yahoo executive John Marcom as COO. Marcom led Yahoo’s global expansion as SVP overseeing operations outside the U.S. Before joining Yahoo he was president of Financial Times Americas at London’s Financial Times. AdGent 007 is an advertising services company focused on monetizing international traffic on premium publisher Web sites.
BrightRoll added two account directors to its sales team. Kerry Fagan, account director for the Northwest region, was a franchise account manager at Sports Illustrated, where she worked primarily on integrated print and digital advertising sales. Dave Simon, account director for the Midwest territory, was most recently Jones MediaAmerica’s managing director, where he oversaw integrated network radio sales. Previously Simon represented 50 television stations as an account executive at Continental TV sales.
Clickable partnered with LexisNexis to provide search marketing solutions for law firms. The two formed a venture to help attorneys use search marketing for client acquisition.
Amobee Media signed with Vodafone. The mobile advertising solutions company signed a Global Framework Agreement with the carrier, establishing terms and conditions for Amobee to supply services to Vodafone operating companies and partners.
Interwoven was selected by Discovery Communications. Discovery is using Interwoven to launch PlanetGreen.com to create and deliver content using TeamSite.It is also targeting visitors with Interwoven’s MetaTagger, to categorize, tag topics and articles across its online networks.
New York Times recruit Andrew Pancer joined Media6°. Pancer joined as chief operating officer. At the New York Times Company, he was the COO of About.com.

Tobin Trevarthen joined click fraud watchdog company Anchor Intelligence. Trevathen will take the role vice president of business development. He has over 25 years of media and business development experience with ad agencies, online advertisers, publishers, and traditional media. He served in senior management roles at AOL, Time Warner, and AllAdvantage.com.
