R/GA boosts focus on analytics; Platform-A recruits former Virgin Mobile executive; Gawker Media joins the Quattro Wireless mobile ad network.
R/GA is boosting its focus on measurement with the promotion of Luane Kohnke to SVP, managing director of analytics & accountability. Kohnke joined in May 2007 as managing director, data intelligence. She was previously with Wunderman New York.
Scott Kelliher joined AOL’s Platform-A as the category sales director for Telecom. Kelliher has experience in sales, marketing, and brand development. Most recently he was director of mobile media services at Virgin Mobile U.S., where he oversaw sales of the carrier’s ad-supported platform Sugar Mama and other advertising initiatives. Kelliher was previously national director of sales at The Lodge, a provider of original music for television commercials.
Gawker Media selected Quattro Wireless to handle its mobile Web sites. Quattro will build sites for 10 of Gawker’s publications, including Lifehacker and Gizmodo, and five made exclusively for the iPhone.
Nurun named Nicolas Gaudreau VP and managing director of its Montreal headquarters. Gaudreau has over 20 years experience in business and marketing, and recently left Bell Canada, where his last position was VP of interactive marketing for bell.ca.
Delve Networks tapped Tremor Media for online advertising. The video distribution platform will join the Tremor video ad network.
Message Systems was selected to provide its Delivery Manager for mobileStorm. The deliverability product will help improve the performance of mobileStorm clients’ e-mail marketing campaigns.
