WhiteRunkle, Modem Media UK Win Eyeblaster Awards

The agencies were recognized for their creative work at yesterday's fourth annual Eyeblaster Awards.

WhiteRunkle and Modem Media UK were recognized for their creative work at the fourth annual Eyeblaster Awards last night.

WhiteRunkle won the domestic portion of the contest for a National Geographic ad featuring an animated polar bear. Modem Media UK won in the international category for its contribution to HP’s “Pollockizer” campaign. Winners were selected by members of the online advertising community.

In addition to the vote winners, the Yahoo “Big Idea” award went to Dare UK for its work on Sony-Ericsson’s “QuickShare” campaign.

Online voters were presented with 20 finalists, selected from approximately 1,500 ads originally nominated. The “Big Idea” designation was handed down by a group of non-voting panelists.

The Eyeblaster Awards recognize creative and visually engaging ads served by Eyeblaster between November 1, 2003 and August 1, 2004. Sponsors include Yahoo and media partner ClickZ.com.
