ClickZ won two silver awards in the 2010 Digital Azbee competition run by the American Society of Business Publication Editors.

The awards honor the online publication for excellence in two categories: “Web News section” and “New or relaunched Web site.”

“This national recognition affirms what many ClickZ readers already know: Our news and Web development teams are committed to producing a must-read publication for online marketers,” said ClickZ Executive Editor Anna Maria Virzi.

Winners of the silver award for “Web News Section” are ClickZ Managing Editor Zachary Rodgers, Senior Editor Kate Kaye, and Staff Writers Christopher Heine and Jack Marshall.

“By emphasizing thorough reporting and clear writing, ClickZ’s journalists ensure that marketers are prepared to do their jobs and anticipate change,” Virzi said.

ClickZ’s relaunch, which took effect July 29, permits the editorial team to showcase lively and colorful advertising campaigns that deserve readers’ attention. “Kudos to Rebecca Holz, Web project lead, who headed up that effort in the United States,” Virzi said. Holz worked closely with project and Web development teams at Incisive Media in the U.K. and Srishti Software in India.
