McCann Worldgroup hires Mike Windsor; MobileStorm names Doug Schiller CFO.

Former Ogilvy Interactive CEO recruited to McCann Worldgroup. Mike Windsor joined McCann Worldgroup San Francisco as executive vice president, executive director of integrated operations. Windsor has been a consultant to the San Francisco arm of McCann Worldgroup for the past year, while concurrently serving on the boards of several start-up ventures. He previously was with Creative Artists Agency as head of its corporate consulting practice. From 1998 to 2004 he served as president and CEO of Ogilvy Interactive.

MobileStorm named Doug Schiller chief financial officer. Schiller has advised the e-mail and mobile marketing provider with financial strategy and guidance since its inception. He has over 20 years experience at CFO and senior-level positions in venture-backed companies. He is the founder of AlternativeEnergy.com, and has held leadership positions at NewYears.com, ClubPlanet.com, Xingtone, and PrimeID.

President-elect Obama nominates FCC chief. Julius Genachowski was nominated to head the Federal Communications Commission by President-Elect Barak Obama, according to the Wall Street Journal. The two were classmates at Harvard Law School. Genachowski cofounded LaunchBox Digital, a Washington, DC-based venture capital firm, and previously worked at the FCC during the Clinton administration. Under Barry Diller he worked at IAC/InterActive Corp in various executive positions.

Revenue Science hired Christina Castellano as account manager. Castellano makes an addition to the account services team. She worked previously as account manager at Revolution Health.

Jaguar Land Rover selected Alterian to manage its Web sites worldwide. The Alterian content management platform provides professionals at dealerships and regional offices editorial control over local Web site copy to create messaging to customers and communicate sales.

ContextWeb promoted, hired executives. John Ruvolo was promoted to vice president of sales, U.S. He has been with ContextWeb, which runs the Adsdaq Exchange, since 2004, and previously held the title director of sales, Eastern region. Ken Lauher was hired as director of marketing. Lauher was previously with ITX Corp., first as marketing manager, and later as practice manager. From 2000 to 2005 Lauher was chief marketing officer and founder of Rising Media, a professional networking organization for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
