[x+1] named Jamie Brown vice president, optimization and analytics. The online marketing optimization firm created the position for Brown. He was previously director of statistical methodology for AC Nielsen.

AT&T renewed its partnership with InfoSpace. AT&T, formerly Cingular Wireless, extended its partnership to continue use of InfoSpace’s customized mobile search and messaging solutions, as well as professional hosting and management services.

PowerReviews named Jay Shaffer vice president of marketing. The provider of customer-guided merchandising solutions for online retailers hired Shaffer from his position as vice president of marketing at DirectlyHome.com.

IProspect opened an office in Madrid, Spain. Search engine marketing firm iProspect has rebranded its Isobar sister search agency, formerly known as NTB, as iProspect Spain. NTB currently works with clients including, Renault, Heineken, and Dell.

International Affairs Council of North Carolina appointed Diane Kuehn to its board of directors. Kuehn is president and CEO of VisionPoint Marketing, an Internet marketing agency.

Interpublic subscribed to TiVo’s Stop||Watch ratings service. Interpublic Group of Companies, a collection of advertising agencies and marketing services firms, will use TiVo’s Stop||Watch ratings service for second-by-second program and commercial ratings research.

NetShelter named Todd Carville as national sales director. The technology vertical ad network created the position for Carville, who will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
