Tacoda Systems adds USAToday.com to its client list; Jumpstart Digital Marketing hires Aaron Nichols as director of auto sales for the Northeast region; T3 hires Darcy Lewis as media supervisor in New York

Tacoda Systems has added USAToday.com to its client list. The online version of America’s widest distribution newspaper is the sixth major media company to use Tacoda’s Audience Management Software (AMS). The other five are CondiNet, Forbes.com, Advance Internet, Tribune Interactive and The Weather Channel’s weather.com

Numerous studies have pointed out the need for better audience data to improve ad sales and e-commerce prospects. Launched by Dave Morgan, founder and former CEO of Real Media, Tacoda Systems helps Web publishers market to audience segments with high revenue potential.

Jumpstart Digital Marketing has hired Aaron Nichols as director of sales for the Northeast region of Jumpstart’s car shopping division. In the newly created position, Nichols will promote Jumpstart’s car shopping program to auto dealers in most New England states, as well as a few in the Midwest and along the central Atlantic coast. He comes to Jumpstart from OpenAuto.com where he had worked since 1999, most recently as director of sales.

“What makes Jumpstart’s New Car Shopping Program work is comfortable relationships between host sites and local auto dealers,” said Mitch Lowe, CEO of Jumpstart. “Aaron comes to us with extensive dealer contacts and some great online auto experience. We expect he’ll take the Northeast by storm.”

T3 (The Think Tank) has hired Darcy Lewis as media supervisor for the interactive agency’s recently opened New York office. Before joining T3, Lewis worked for Euro RSCG MVBMS Partners as media supervisor for WorldCom, handling media strategy, planning and buying. She was previously with McCann Relationship Marketing where she worked on the Gateway Computers, Sprint, MSN and Johnson & Johnson accounts.

“By hiring Darcy, we can provide our clients with a media expert who understands current market nuances and makes significant strategic recommendations,” said Gay Gaddis, T3 president and founder.

Lewis is the fifth alum from Euro RSCG MVBMS to be hired to T3’s New York office.
